北京大学第三届遥感地信青年论坛（二号通知）
北京大学遥感与地理信息系统研究所（简称北大遥感所），是中国最早开展遥感科学与技术、地理信息科学和卫星导航定位等空间信息科学与技术研究与教学的单位之一，是北京大学多学科教学与科研的一个窗口，也是中国教育界多学科研究的一个亮点。秉承创新引领发展的理念，北大遥感所将于2019年5月17日~18日举办北京大学第三届遥感地信青年论坛，诚邀海内外优秀学者和校友相聚美丽的燕园，交流学术前沿热点，增进交流与合作，借此吸纳全球顶尖的人才和技术，打造国际一流的科研平台，与有志加盟者共同筑梦未名。
一、申请条件
1、在国内外知名大学或科研机构获得博士学位，年龄不超过40岁。
2、目前在海外知名高校、科研机构有正式教学或科研职位，或在海外从事博士后研究的科研人员；或学术成绩特别突出的海外知名高校在读博士生；或国内学术成就突出、具有较大发展潜力的优秀青年学者。
二、日程安排
本次论坛采用“特邀报告+主题报告+座谈参观”的形式举行。拟定日程如下：

三、支持方案
1、为受邀学者提供往返北京至现就职或求学单位的交通费用；
2、论坛举办期间提供受邀学者的食宿。
四、报名方式
申请作报告的青年学者请于2019年4月18日前填写“附件1_申请表”并提交支撑材料（个人详细简历），通过电子邮件发送至irsgis@pku.edu.cn，邮件标题“姓名-单位-北大遥感青年论坛报名”，中英文皆可。论坛主办方将进行筛选并最终确认邀请名单，4月21日前将邀请信发送至申请人本人。有问题请电子邮件咨询：irsgis@pku.edu.cn。论坛同时欢迎相关领域青年教师、科研人员、研究生及校友参与交流，请感兴趣者填写“附件2_回执表”，主办方将通过电子邮件通知后续日程安排。

Peking University 3rdYouth Forum on RS&GIS
（Round2 Notification）
The Institute of Remote Sensing and GeographicInformation Systems, Peking University (hereinafter referred to as IRSGIS) isone of the institutions that lead the research and education of spaceinformation science & technology on remote sensing, GIScience, andsatellite navigation & positioning in China. IRSGIS is a ‘window’ forlearning the multi-disciplinary education and research of both PekingUniversity and the whole Chinese educational world. To achieve furtherdevelopment, IRSGIS will organize the 3rd Peking University YouthForum on RS and GIS during May 17~18,2019. We sincerely invite those outstanding young scholars to gather in thebeautiful Yanyuan Campus and enhance the academic exchanges between the toptalents in the world. With an international first-class scientific researchplatform taken as the goal, IRSGIS will also absorb those aspiringparticipants.
I. Requirement
1.Occupying PhD from sound academic institutions, less than 40 years old.
2. Holding formal positions in sound academicinstitutions abroad (also with PhD students in well-known overseas universitieswith outstanding academic achievements and excellent young scholars withoutstanding academic achievements in China taken into account).

III. Support
1.Covering the round-trip tickets for the invited scholars specialized forattending the Forum.
2. Covering the accommodation for the invited scholarsduring attending the Forum.
IV. Registration
Theapplicants should fill in the "Annex 1_Application Form" and email it(with the supporting materials such as CV) to irsgis@pku.edu.cn (the deadlineis April 18, 2019), with the subject written as "Name-Institution-Applicationfor the RSGIS Youth Forum of Peking University", in English and Chineseboth. The Organization Committee of the Forum will figure out the participantlist. Then, the invitation letter will be sent to the applicants before April 21,2019. For any questions, please email irsgis@pku.edu.cn. The Forum also welcomesthe scholars from the relevant fields. Any attendees are encouraged to fill inthe "Annex 2_Registration Form", and the organization committee willinform the follow-up schedule by e-mail.
